ARV is a post-metal band out of Oslo, Norway, blending hardcore energy with slow-burning atmospheric grit. Formed in 2021, the group features Frederik Hillestad on vocals, Jens Hovden Storaker on bass, Marius Bowitz and Christian Nordheim on guitars, and Bjarne Burger Olafsen on drums. Their sound pulls from northern roots and modern tension—raw, heavy, but with space to breathe. Their debut EP Varmint dropped in 2023, and their first full-length, Curse & Courage, is landing May 2, 2025.
